Spiritual Direction and Formation Training

What is Spiritual Direction?

Spiritual direction is the practice of actively listening to people as they attempt to deepen their relationship with God, or to learn and grow in their personal spirituality. Traning is offered for people who want to learn how to practice this ministry.

 

Classes are offered at Middleway Urban Monastery. A new class for the three-year school forms each spring for the following fall. Online instruction is offered. Classes are once a month on Saturdays to allow busy people to attend.

Our mission is to provide an affordable school for spiritual direction and formation in a format that accommodates the busy schedules of clergy and lay people.

 

We are diverse and ecumenical. We do not have educational or age limits. All are welcome.
