This Week: Exploring Creative Hope

Dear Friends of Middleway Urban Monastery,  Our next retreat will begin Thursday July 23 via Zoom and includes a variety of options through Friday July 24. As with all our offerings, it is free.      Retreat leader Dr. Heidi Campbell notes that 2020 has been a unique year. "Besides navigating a global pandemic, we were all forced to become monastics for a season. We were ushered into a new rule of life, organized around sheltering in place and social distancing practices," she said. "But instead of this monastic-like experience of isolation and quiet bringing us peace, many experienced anxiety and fear due to the uncertainties of this new lifestyle.  As we wade our way through the continued effects of COVID-19, hope has become a rare and precious commodity." Campbell will show you how to create hope.
